It's Official! The Partnership for Regional Sustainability's Chart

The heads of the five local councils in the Regional Partnership for Sustainability; the executive director of Ramat Hanadiv; and 120 members of the Partnership's Leaders' Forum were all on hand at Ramat Hanadiv on 26 January to sign the Partnership's official charter, detailing its vision, its goals, and its action models for the coming years. With this document, the signatories took upon themselves the responsibility to lead their entire region forward into a future distinguished by its quality of life and the values of sustainability.
The charter signing was organized as part of the fourth gathering of the Partnership's Leaders' Forum, festively marking the finale of the year 2016's activities and the launch of 2017. Dubbed the Year of Strategy, 2016 also saw the operation of many projects across the Partnership region. From its first days in January, 2017 is the year that the Partnership will begin to fully implement its vision and its practical goals.
The Mayor of Yerucham, Michael Biton, highlighted the evening with a superb lecture on sustainability and economy as triggers for the growth of city and community.
